The Dayton Islamic School was founded in 1996 and is under the umbrella of the Greater Dayton Islamic Foundation (GDIF).  ISLAM is the most important thing about our school.  We follow Islam by obeying Allah and His Messenger (may Allah exalt him) according to the understanding of the Messenger's companions (Sahaba) and those who followed them in faith. We are a diverse school with over 150 students. 
DIS has students from preschool to eighth grade who receive individual attention to meet their needs and are given opportunities for personal growth.
